One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) is also present in Las Vegas to show off its latest tablet computers, the 7-inch XO-2 and the 10.1-inch XO-10.

The organization that has managed to do so much for children around the world through its non-profit wing announced two new child slate models with Vivitar as hardware partner, reports Engadget.

Reportedly, the two tablets offer a decent battery life too, the 7-inch will pump seven hours on a single charge, while its larger brother will offer 12.

The tablet duo runs on a modified version of Android KitKat and ship with a selection of English and Spanish apps worth around $200 / €147.

The two XO devices will be available for purchase with a price tag of $149 / €109 for the smaller one and $199 / €146 for the larger.

Also note that the tablets can be coupled with a nice wireless keyboard designed by famous designer, Yves Béhar.
