It’s the season of the dual-boot machines. ASUS is also expected to unveil a tablet/laptop hybrid capable of switching between Android and Windows in just 8 seconds at CES 2014, but as we wait for that, we can let Micromax have a moment too.

Indian device manufacturer (the second smartphone maker in the country) Micromax is displaying a dual-boot tablet of its very own, reports Engadget. The machine is called the LapTab and can run both Windows 8.1 and Android Jelly Bean.

Specification-wise, the tablet features a 10-inch screen with a resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels and its life force comes from a 1.4GHz (unnamed) processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and backed-up by 32GB of storage. Furthermore, there’s two 2MP cameras on board.

Expect to see the tablet arrive on retail shelves as early as next month with a wireless keyboard in the bundle. Price is yet to be announced.
