Sure, 28 inches is quite a bit of surface area, but it's nothing compared to 55-100 inches

So far, ultra high-definition video support has been used in conjunction with television sets, mostly, but Lenovo is helping to change this by launching the ThinkVision Pro2840m professional monitor.

Made for workstations used by graphics and video designers, it isn't a 55-inch, 65-inch, 84/85-inch or even 100/110-inch monstrosity of 3840 x 2160 pixels.

Instead, it is a professional monitor that squeezes all those pixels into a 28-inch panel. It also has an adjustable stand, two speakers and several inputs.

Sales of the Lenovo ThinkVision Pro2840m will commence in April at $799.

“The ThinkVision Pro2840m is a must have display for professionals looking for ultra-high resolutions,” the company stated in its press release.

It's debatable if the newcomer really does offer the best value at that price, but considering that UHD TVs tend to sell for thousands upon thousands of dollars/euro/pounds, I'm not about to jinx anything.
