It seems that JK Imaging, the company that owns the licensing rights for the Kodak brand, is planning to make its presence noted on the digital camera market and CES 2014 has provided the perfect occasion for the company to unveil its latest additions to the Astro Zoom line.

Moreover, the firm has also announced two new Smart Lens cameras, the SL10 and SL25, that make Kodak the first company to challenge Sony's QX-series lens-style cameras.

Besides that, Kodak has also brought at CES two new waterproof, freezeproof, dustproof, and shockproof action cameras, the SPZ1 and SP1. The entry-level SPZ1 comes with a 14MP CMOS sensor, 3x optical zoom lens, image stabilization as well as 1080p Full HD video recording capabilities. The SPZ1 will hit market shelves in spring at a price of $139 / €102.

On the other hand, the Kodak SP1 comes with a 160-degree ultra wide-angle lens and built-in Wi-Fi that allows you to instantly transfer your photos and videos to any compatible smartphone or tablet. The SP1 will be available for purchase in spring for only $229 / €168.
