The camera features a newly developed 16MP sensor capable of capturing 4K footage

I'm sure you remember that Panasonic will be announcing this year its first 4K-capable digital camera, the Lumix GH 4K, but until now there have been no actual images with this mysterious model.

Quite a few interesting announcements have been made in the first day of CES 2014, and among them we stumbled upon the first picture of the Panasonic Lumix GH 4K camera showcased at the company's booth.

This might as well not be the final version of the camera, as SmallCameraBigPicture (responsible for the pic) says this is only a mockup. For the moment, there's no information regarding its price and availability, but a few rumors already speculate the official specs of the camera:

- 4K/24/25/30fps - 16mp sensor with full pixel readout - 1/8000 shutter - 3G-SDI and XLR adaptor (An adaptor that the camera sits on with XLR x2, HD-SDI x4) - 10bit 4:2:2 codec (likely AVC Ultra) - 200Mbit MP4 ALL-I and 100Mbit IPB options - Adapter that sits on the camera has 4x 3G-HD-SDI and 2x XLR - Up to 30fps in 4K mode - OLED monitor, 1 million dot - 21mm OLED viewfinder, 3 million dot - Form factor similar to the GH3 but slightly larger, all output jacks facing out of the left side - Time code.
