NVIDIA's Tegra 4 Wayne SoC is already showing up in tablets. Having been released earlier today, in anticipation of CES 2013, the ARM-based chip with 4K-capable integrated graphics has been chosen by Vizio.

The next few months are bound to be filled with announcements about new tablets powered by NVIDIA's Tegra 4 SoC.

Vizio just decided to be quick about it and reveal its creation even before CES 2013 started.

The tablet, whose name has, suspiciously enough, not been made public knowledge yet, measures 10 inches in diagonal.

The basic specifications did get exposed though. Vizio didn't really have much of a choice there, since it needs something to lure customers with.

The 11-inch LCD, for one, has a native resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. This seems to be becoming the new norm, even though PC monitors and laptops, both larger than slates, still use Full HD most of the time (1920 x 1080 pixels).

The Tegra 4 is backed by an undisclosed RAM capacity and handles whatever files are stored on the 32 GB of built-in storage, or the memory card (if present).

The reports coming in from CES haven't actually mentioned the memory card, but there isn't much of a chance for such a slot not to be included in the blueprint. Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi wireless connectivity are present as well.

As for the operating system, the company chose the Android 4.2 operating system. This is the latest iteration of Jelly Bean (4.1 was the first).

Sadly, Vizio did not provide a price, or even an ETA (estimated time of arrival). Given pricing schemes during 2012, the sum may hover around $499 / 499 Euro or even $399 / 399 Euro. There is no way to know for sure though.

More Tegra 4 tablets are bound to appear over the next three days, and throughout the year.
