The Android tablet family has just received two new members, as Velocity used the 2013 CES to introduce its new D610 and Q610 devices.

As you may figure out by simply reading their names, the D610 is based on a dual-core processor, while the Velocity Cruze Q610 employs a quad-core chip.

Both tablets are running Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and boast 10.1-inch screens. Velocity hasn’t provided too many technical details about them, but the company said they’re “both powerful and affordable.”

As for pricing, Velocity indicated that it will begin at $199 (€152), most likely for the dual-core version, while the quad-core model is expected to add another $100 (€76) to the final price. Both the D610 and the Q610 will go on sale in the first quarter of this year.
