Those not physically present in Las Vegas, Nevada might be tempted to think that cases, peripherals and pretty lights are all that Rosewill has to show at its booth.

This is not so, according to reports. The company also has a docking station for SATA hard drives that, for some reason or another, lay around uselessly instead of being part of owners' PCs.

The photo above shows the 120001 dual-bay SATA dock. It looks rather like a toaster that can hold one or two 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch hard drives at once.

Drives plugged into it will communicate with host PCs over the USB 3.0 interface, after a SATA 3.0 interface has converted the signals.

Rosewill intends to start selling the 12001 sometime this year, for $50 / €38-50.
