Fitbit has used the 2013 CES in Las Vegas to announce the latest addition to its product lineup: the wearable wristband with Bluetooth 4.0 that helps you stay in shape 24/7.

The wristband tracks essential data, such as distance and burned calories, with the device using illumination to alert you whenever you reach another 20 percent of your goal.

In addition, the device can even keep an eye on the way to sleep and provide suggestions on how to improve your daily activities in order to reach the configured goal.

The wristband uses Bluetooth 4.0 to connect to an iOS or an Android mobile phone running a specially-developed app to analyze the collected data.

Pricing for the device will start at $99.95 (€76) for any of the five available colors.
