Canon U.S.A. is showcasing its latest innovations in digital imaging at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, with a focus on all-in-one printers compatible with Apple’s AirPrint wireless printing protocol.

A leader in digital imaging solutions, Canon today announced that its newest line of PIXMA Wireless Office all-in-one printers is equipped with AirPrint support.

The company named a few compatible models, including the Canon PIXMA MX922, PIXMA MX522 and PIXMA MX452 Wireless Office all-in-one printers.

Apple’s AirPrint allows users to print their photos, email, web pages and documents directly from an iPhone or iPad without installing special drivers. Wires are also excluded thanks to the standard.

AirPrint is compatible with all iPad models, the iPhone 3GS and all later models, as well as with iPod touch devices (starting with the 3rd generation player). The wireless printing service also requires iOS 4.2 or newer versions.
