Etón Corporation has recently unveiled one of its most innovative products, Rukus Bluetooth sound system, equipped with a solar panel that will definitely please all the eco-conscious music fans, during the 2012 CES.

It is considered a major breakthrough, due to its unique combination of E Ink display, Bluetooth and an advantaged monocrystal solar panel harnessing sunlight to provide clean green power and recharge the 1800 mAh lithium battery.

This feature means that users will never be forced to plug in the portable device. However, they are also able to charge the portable sound system in a traditional manner.

According to manufacturers, the integrated 40 square-inch solar panel has to be placed under the sun for six hours to fully recharge the battery.

Design improvements make the device both energy-efficient and 'virtually indestructible.' My guess is that most of the gadget enthusiasts, willing to pay almost $150 (€118) to get their hands on Rukus will avoid testing the last feature.
