If you ever wished for a mouse that knew how you wanted it to run, the Shogun Bros Ballista MK-1 may be just what you need.

The wired laser mouse was seen at CES 2012 and has a 5700dpi laser sensor.

What is unique about it is that it can adjust sensitivity of X and Y axes on the fly.

By holding down the config button for five seconds, you can initiate the setting editing mode.

After that, you spin the mouse wheel to adjust sensitivity (100dpi increments) leaving it to a small abacus of red and green LEDs to remember the resolution.

Four different sensitivity modes can be stored in the memory, plus five different profiles, for a total of 20 selections.

That done, it is possible to just swap between them by a thumb press on either the up or down button.

You can get a better idea of how all of it works here. This quarter is when sales will start, for $60 (47 Euro).
