CES 2012: Purple DROID RAZR Heading to Verizon

Motorola's favorite US-based carrier, Verizon Wireless has just announced the upcoming availability of the purple-themed DROID RAZR.

The smartphone was unveiled at the International Consumer Electronics Show, in Las Vegas, alongside the Motorola DROID 4 and Motorola RAZR MAXX.

The purple flavor of Motorola RAZR comes with the same features as the black version. The phone is expected to arrive at Verizon in the coming weeks and will be available for purchase for as low as $199.99 with a new two-year agreement.

This would be the third color choice for the Motorola DROID RAZR, after the carrier announced the classic black and the pristine white flavors.

Expect the same solid build and premium materials, as well as a high-end specs sheet that includes 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread, 16GB on board memory, LTE support and 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced capacitive touchscreen display.
