JVC’s Everio camcorder line has just welcomed the addition of seven new models, which outside of the regular 1080p AVCHD recording also bring WiFi and geotagging support to the table.

These features are enabled in four of the models announced today, together with an HDMI output and a UXP mode which enables 24Mbps video recording.

Paired together with a free app available for Android and iOS devices, Everio camcorders can wirelessly transfer video and stills to a smartphone for quick sharing these on your favorite social networking services.

Furthermore, this app also allows users to geotag their recordings by using the smartphone’s built-in GPS, while a Live Monitoring option allows real time monitoring either on a smartphone or a computer.

JVC’s full Everio camcorder lineup will arrive in Q1 of this year, with prices starting at $229.95 and going all the way up to $899.95 (179.5 to 702 EUR).
