The mysterious smartphone is expected to be announced soon

Japanese company Fujitsu has a few aces up its sleeve for this year’s International Consumer Electronics Show that has just kicked off in Las Vegas.

 

According to a leaflet published by the folks over at Engadget, the company reveals plans to announce a “new quad-core ultra high-spec smartphone.”

 

The leaflet is currently distributed at CES 2012 and mentions that the smartphone will be equipped with a Tegra 3 quad core CPU (4 CPUs + ShadowCore) and will run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.

 

The company plans to announce more devices at CES 2012, including the “world’s thinnest 6.7mm water-resistant smartphone,” a high-spec LTE-enabled phone, which is also waterproof, a Windows Phone 7.5 Mango water-resistant smartphone, a REGZA smartphone with ultra-high resolution imagining engine, and a waterproof tablet with LTE support.
