Canon’s ELPH point-and-shoot digital camera family, known to most of us as the Digital IXUS, has just grown by two during this year’s CES fair.

Dubbed the ELPH 520 HS and ELPH 110 HS, the two camera models feature pretty much the same specs, but the former comes with a 10.1MP sensor and 12x wide-angle (28mm) optical zoom lens, while the latter has a 16MP sensor and a 24mm 5x optical zoom lens.

Otherwise, both of these can reach ISO 3200, shoot video at 1080p resolution, pack 3-inch LCDs and include the new Face ID feature that can store up to 12 faces in the camera, and can also prioritize focus and exposure for recognized subjects.

If this sounds like something you might want in your camera, than you can get the Canon 110 HS starting with February for $250 (196 EUR). Waiting till March lets you go for the 520 HS, but this retails for $50 (40 EUR) more.
