Although this year's CES has come and gone, we'll keep informing you for a while longer regarding the various products the most important names in the industry have come up with at this international fair. So, after reading quite a few things about SanDisk's products lately, it's about time to take a look at the company's least publicized, yet equally important products.

First of all, the company has introed an 8-GB version of its Cruzer Crossfire USB flash drive, which represents the next iteration for the company's Cruzer Crossfire line, introduced in 2006. These drives are distinguished by their hard plastic shell and multiple colors, with the new 8 GB version featuring a black body and green trim on the cap. The device is supposed to hit retailers this quarter at retail prices of up to 130 US dollars.

Another important announcement from SanDisk is the one related to the new version of the SanDisk Memory Stick PRO Duo, an 8 GB memory card offered in translucent green that allows users to save game data as well as store and play digital music, videos and still photos. The card is expected to ship this month at a suggested retail price of $149.99.

Last but not least, SanDisk has also unveiled the 8 GB version of the Extreme III SDHC Memory Card. This particular flash-based storage device has minimum write and read speeds of 20 megabytes per second (MB/sec), which makes it an appropriate solution for those applications where performance is the key feature requirement.

Like of all the other SDHC cards from SanDisk, the Extreme III SDHC Memory Card is fully compliant with the new SD Card Specification 2.00 and uses the FAT32 file systems. Furthermore, it only works with SDHC host devices. No pricing details have been provided for this model, but since the 2 GB version sells for around 69.99 US dollars, you do the math.
