BlueAnt Wireless, a company with a very strong name in the Bluetooth industry, has announced at the CES 2008 that soon they will start shipping what will be the world's most powerful Bluetooth loudspeaker.

The project, codenamed M1, is supposed to be the most advanced Bluetooth loudspeaker around, sporting almost the same characteristics like any high-quality traditional speaker on the market, thus ensuring that wireless speakers will finally gain access to the audio market in a proper way, and not as side-solutions as they so far have been.

BlueAnt Wireless has issued so far multiple cordless speakers, in order to meet the ever-increasing demand of customers looking for the possibility to stream their favorite music from portable sources with no speakers of their own, such as mobile phones, MP3 players and so on.

The new speakers will be compatible with all A2DP-enabled devices, including PCs and MACs , PDAs and cellphones, for complete convenience. The M1 will sport a very generous 28W power rating, which, by all means, is well enough to get the party going in a medium size room. Despite this very serious power, the BlueAnt Wireless M1 is said to come with moderate dimensions, making it easy to be carried around.

Unlike most other similar units, this stereo device will not sport full-range drivers, but a 2-way "crossovered" driver complement for extended capabilities to deliver a powerful soundstage with transparent imaging and rich dynamics. Available from the first quarter of 2008, the BlueAnt Wireless M1 has a MSRP of $199.

Officially announced specs:

-Crystal Clear Thumping Sound
