Philips Digital Photodisplay

Philips has launched during CERF, the largest IT & C fair in Romania, 3-7 May, its latest amazing gadget - a digital photo frame named, of course, Philips Digital Photodisplay.

This gadget has a touch of magic, as it looks like a common photo frame with a futuristic design, but is, in fact, an entire photo book "jammed" between two little glass walls.

Therefore, the 133 ppi HD screen displays over 80 high-resolution photos taken directly from your memory cards (SD, MMC, Memory Stick and Compact Flash), and by using a USB port you can transfer the pictures from a digital camera or PC.

As a user, you can also program the gadget to stop or start displaying the images when you wish it. But the most important feature, as the gadget is meant for IT novices, is that you mustn't program it, as it needs no special software you must install in order for it to run.

It simply starts when you want it to start displaying any picture you want to see, in the way you want it to be, meaning portrait or landscape.

Believe us when we say that we tested it and we are still under its spell.
