14 DAY TRIAL // CDlinux - Compact Distro Linux - a compact Linux distribution, has made another step in its evolution. It has reached version 0.6.1, which sports the latest Linux kernel, Xfce window manager, X.Org and some desktop applications in almost 60MB.
This is the second stable release of the 0.6 series and it ships with the 2.6.24.5 Linux kernel, Pidgin 2.4.1, Firefox 2.0.0.14, Xfce 4.4.2 and X.Org 7.3. It fixes a quoting bug in rc.modules and sports some brand new support for touchpad, lzma, pdf and better support for desktop icons and Mactel. In the previous versions it didn't handle hotplug too well; now, CDlinux 0.61 seems to manage it much better and it also honors DBus and HAL.
