The developers of CDBurnerXP rolled out a new build for their application over the weekend. The fresh release does not include new features, but it brings to the table a small set of fixes, designed to improve overall functionality of the program.

The only improvement list by the developer for CDBurnerXP 4.4.1.3184 is the removal of the audio track sorting when loading a compilation.

Fixes dominate in this release and address issues such as burning speed possibly being changed during multi-disc burning sessions. Another repair deals with the application failing to exit properly under Windows XP.

In previous builds of CDBurnerXP, dragging multiple files from the built-in file browser would cause the items not to be added in the displayed order. This glitch was also influenced by the files selected for dragging, but in this revision it no longer exists.

Download CDBurnerXP; the application is also available as a portable download.

There should be a warning with this program, it contains 3rd party software that most people do not want!

We thoroughly check each program and if third-party components are pushed during the installation process we that application as ad-supported.

As you can see from the download page on Softpedia, this is not the case with CDBurnerXP. However, I double-checked and could not find any trace of other components except for what CDBurnerXP needs in order to function properly.
