CDBurnerXP has received an update over the weekend, incrementing the build number to 4.4.2.3442. The changelog includes a new feature as well as a small number of fixes.

Among the most significant modifications in this release is support for the new audio format, Opus, which is an open lossy compression format developed by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF).

Additional changes in the new CDBurnerXP include fixes for problems such as an AccessViolationException when loading certain audio files and a bug that interfered with custom speed selection. Furthermore, the developer also eliminated an issue that prevented the saved order of an opened audio compilation to be restored, on some occasions.

Localization of the application has also been extended and now includes Hungarian translation for the installer.
