The team has a number of core ideas it wants to explore

Marek Ziemak, a gameplay producer working at CD Projekt RED, says that his team is careful during the development process of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to make sure that it does not introduce any unnecessary gameplay features.

He explains to Gamasutra that his team has created a template of what a game in the series needs to include with the first title in the series and has been careful when adding new elements to it.

Ziemak adds, “we are not a very big studio, but we are doing a massive game. Feature creep is usually a feature that is not absolutely needed, but someone wants it. And once we get delayed with something that's really important, feature creeps are the first ones to get out of the plan.”

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will see Geralt deal with his past and with a supernatural threat on the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4 and the PC in the spring of 2014.
