14 DAY TRIAL // Piriform updated their optimization and cleaning application, CCleaner, to version 3.17. Improvements available in this release range from increased support for cleaning various programs to minor repairs.
CCleaner 3.17 adds wildcard support for deleting cookies, improves cleaning in Google Chrome and can eliminate hosts history in Firefox Aurora.
Enhancements in the release do not stop at these, though, as the application does a better job closing the web browsers during the cleaning session and improved shortcut cleaning in Windows 8.
The list of newly supported software includes Vuze, Windows Media Center, Windows Media Player, Corel VideoStudio Pro X4 and Game Explorer. Apart from this, CCleaner brings to the table better BitTorrent detection.
