Dinosaurs were one of my favorite things to fantasize about when I was growing up and I’m guessing a lot of you had the same passion for them. Sadly, back then we didn't have a cool app like the CBeebies Play to let us explore the prehistoric world.

Anyway, BBC has just announced it has updated its Android tablet (and smartphone) app to bring Andy’s Dinosaur Adventures to life.

The app is, of course, targeted at kids and as they navigate the colorful environment, young techies can learn about diverse dinosaur facts. But I’d dare say, the fun part comes when painting the dinosaurs in different colors and feeding them with the right kind of food.

Kids can also record the roars of their favorite dinosaurs, in case they want to have a special memento of their virtual friend. Check the Google Play store to get it.
