Motorola Milestone X2 is the second Android smartphone that C Spire Wireless adds to its portfolio this month. The carrier introduced Sony Ericsson’s Xperia PLAY two weeks ago.

Motorola Milestone X2 is aimed at both business and tech-savvy customers. The phone is now available online and in all C Spire Wireless retail stores for $99.99 (75 EUR) after a $50 reward card and a new two-year agreement with data services.

Motorola Milestone X's sequel is much faster and more powerful thanks to a new dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz that offers blazing fast mobile web surfing and a smooth gaming experience.

The phone boasts a stunning 4.3-inch scratch-resistant and anti-reflective HD capacitive touchscreen that displays crisp and vivid pictures.

There’s also an improved 8-megapixel rear camera with continuous autofocus that can shot high quality photos and HD (720p) videos. Both are shown in the new Gallery application that allows users to view, tag and post photos onto their own social networking accounts, including Flickr and Facebook.

The Milestone X2 is delivered with Android 2.3 Gingerbread on board and support for Google Mobile Services, including Gmail, Google Search, YouTube, Google Talk and Google Maps. Quick access to more than 300,000 apps via Android Market is available as well.

On the inside, the smartphone packs 8 GB internal memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB). Motorola Milestone X2 offers full support for mobile hotspot, allowing users to share a broadband connection with up to five Wi-Fi-enabled devices.

Whether you’re a consumer or a business professional, the Motorola X2 is a device that can provide the ultimate personalized wireless experience. With its enterprise-ready security and IT-grade policies and rich media features, the Motorola X2 is perfect for work or play,” said Sherry Stegall, senior vice president of Sales and Customer Operations for C Spire Wireless.
