14 DAY TRIAL // C-Plate is a new camera plate concept from the guys at Custom Brackets, that aims to become the best anti-twist DSLR plate on the market.
The new C-Plate is custom designed from the ground up in the USA and it's compatible with all Arca-Swiss style and Manfrotto RC2 quick releases. This revolutionary plate works with any DSLR camera, making it a versatile product even if you upgrade your gear.
With safety in mind, the guys at Custom Brackets have designed a special camera anti-twist system that uses two arms to prevent the camera from twisting.
Moreover, the new camera plate comes with an allen wrench stored within the plate, which will ease the job of attaching or removing the camera plate at any time.
A cool feature of the C-Plate is that it also works with Spider camera holsters, and by using an off-set connection point, the pin doesn't interfere with the tripod. A built-in hand strap attachment point is also included in the design at no additional cost.
The C-Plate is designed to be lightweight and strong, weighing only 2.2oz / 62g, and it's expected to be even lighter at the time of release. The C-Plate AS2 and C-Plate M2 enable you to leave your Black Rapid strap's carabiner locked at all times while a stainless steel bushing protects the carabiner from wearing out.
An added safety is included in the C-PLate AS3 and M3 models, which will keep your gear safe without having to worry that the strap could accidentally unscrew over time.

Camera screw: Captive ¼”-20 screw (uses allen wrench stored within the C-Plate). Main plate: Aluminum, tumbled, and hard anodized (type III). Anti-twist arms: Aluminum, tumbled, and anodized (type II). Anti-twist arms available in colors: black, green, or red. Green and red are only available on Kickstarter. The arms are adjustable with allen wrench stored within the C-Plate. Anti-twist posts are machined from Delrin acetal plastic to prevent any scratching of the camera body.
