In April this year, a first trailer for a new vampire flick, “Byzantium,” was released online. Before you roll your eyes thinking “oh not another one!,” check out the new trailer for it above.

Directed by Neil Jordan of the “Interview with the Vampire” fame, “Byzantium” also bears a striking resemblance to it in tone and atmosphere, except that, this time, the bloodsuckers are female.

“Two mysterious women seek refuge in a run-down coastal resort. Clara meets lonely Noel, who provides shelter in his deserted guesthouse, Byzantium. Schoolgirl Eleanor befriends Frank and tells him their lethal secret. They were born 200 years ago and survive on human blood. As knowledge of their secret spreads, their past catches up on them with deathly consequence,” reads a brief synopsis of the film.

The two vampire ladies are played by Gemma Arterton and Saoirse Ronan, while the story is based on the young adult play “A Vampire Story” by Moira Buffini.

“Byzantium” drops on June 28.
