The latest promotion for Sony Ericsson's T303 handset is able to bring you in the same room with Maria Sharapova, the famous Russian tennis player. The Swedish-Japanese handset maker announced a “Party with Maria” contest, which would allow 30 lucky people to participate at a party in Miami with the company's ambassador.

Those willing to give it a try will only have to acquire a Sony Ericsson T303, if they do not have the mobile phone already, and they will be allowed to enter the competition. According to the news on the Web, you still have a chance to make it to the party, as the contest runs until the end of January. The only rule is that contestants be from one of the following countries: France, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait/Bahrain, Jordan or Egypt.

Undoubtedly, Maria Sharapova remains the No. 1 marketing star, although she is falling out of the Top 10 of the WTA Tour rankings. As many of you might already know, the Swedish-Japanese handset maker has made the beautiful Russian tennis player its first global brand ambassador about a year ago, and already launched a “Maria Sharapova Design Collection” a while ago. The tennis player will be part of Sony Ericsson's team for three more years from now on.

The T303 handset that is being promoted now comes to the market with a 1.8-inch TFT display that can deliver a 128 x 160 pixel resolution and 65K colors, along with a 1.3-megapixel camera, MP3 player, FM radio, Bluetooth 2.0, WAP browser, TrackID music recognition, handsfree, voice memo, stopwatch, calculator and calendar. The Sony Ericsson T303 measures 3.26 x 1.85 x 0.58 inches (83 x 47 x 14.7 millimeters) and weighs 3.28 ounces (93 grams). Its battery can offer around 400 hours of stand-by time and 9 hours of talk-time.
