Buy a Blackberry Smartphone and Get Other Four For Free

- New offer from Bell Mobility

By: Florin Troaca, Communications News Editor

Bell Mobility, a leading Canadian mobile operator, launched a new offer that gives subscribers the chance to buy a Blackberry handset and get other 4 for free.
Customers who buy a BlackBerry 8830 World Edition or a BlackBerry Pearl 8130 will also receive other four BlackBerry 8703e handsets. The offer is available only with a data-sharing plan of minimum 25 Canadian Dollars. This is a great opportunity for those who run small businesses and need to stay connected with their team but don't want to spend too much money.

BlackBerry 8830 World Edition and BlackBerry Pearl 8130 are both powerful and elegant smartphones that offer full QWERTY keypads, GPS, multimedia capabilities and full suite of business functionality including email, organizer and web browsing. BlackBerry 8830 can be bought starting from 299.95 Canadian Dollars with a three-year term, while BlackBerry Pearl 8130, now available in a red version too, can be bought starting from 99.95 Canadian Dollars, with the same three-year term (Canadian Dollars have about the same value as the US Dollars, for those who don't know).

BlackBerry 8703e, the phone that comes for free, is not quite a device that usually gets to be offered like this, as it has pretty nice specifications: full QWERTY keyboard, Ev-DO technology for fast email and browser speeds, GPS, light sensing screen, instant messaging capabilities and organizer, all packed in a sleek design.

In 2007, Bell Mobility had about 6 million customers, and by introducing the new offer (which ends on March 31, 2008) it probably tries to catch-up with Roger Wireless, the other important mobile operator in Canada, which has a larger subscribers base (over 7 million). Five smartphones for the price of one is really a rare offer and Canadian users in need of business phones will surely take advantage of it.
