Microsoft has confirmed a brand new promotion for its Xbox One console, allowing those who get a device between September 7 and September 13 a free game at full-price or lower during the special week.

The Xbox One console came out last November, and due to a series of confusing statements and strategies, not to mention the steep price, the device ended up lagging behind Sony's PS4 in terms of sales and popularity.

This summer, Microsoft started taking steps to rectify the situations, deploying a lower-priced Xbox One bundle without the Kinect 2.0 sensor, as well as some sweeter deals on games and other packages.

Now, the best deal yet has just been revealed, in the form of a free game with every Xbox One purchased in the United States of America, according to the Xbox Wire.

Between September 7 and September 13, anyone who gets an Xbox One console, bundled with or without a game like Forza Motorsport 5 or Madden NFL 15, can choose from an already-released retail game and get it for free.

Microsoft exemplified the offer with the likes of Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition, Titanfall, Madden NFL 15, NHL 15, and many others.

The promotion is available only during the upcoming week and can't be used with pre-orders for games like Halo: The Master Chief Edition or Sunset Overdrive.
