In this regard, Microsoft and partners are prepared to offer the Windows 7 Professional for just $99.99 when that official estimated retail price is $319.99, and Windows 7 Home Premium for just $49.99, compared to the full retail price of $199.99.

We will offer people in select markets the opportunity to pre-order Windows 7 at a more than 50% discount. Microsoft indicated that the special offer was limited to certain markets. On June 26, 2009, the program is scheduled to go live in the United States, Canada and Japan.
