Amazon plans on launching its Android app store with a very interesting business model included, that's for sure, as users would have the possibility to purchase applications for their Android devices even before they have the actual device in their hands.

Basically, any users purchasing a new Android device from Amazon and interested in acquiring a series of applications for that device too would be able to do so right after placing an order on the device.

“Let’s say I buy an Android tablet from Amazon’s tablet store. Then I visit the Amazon Appstore and download the IMDb app, the Audible app, and a few games,” Amazon's Amber Taylor notes in a recent post on the company's appstore developer blog.

“When another customer is looking at the Android tablet in Amazon’s tablet store, they may see the apps I downloaded in a section called 'Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought',” the said post continues.

Of course, this is only one feature that Amazon's application store for Android devices will be launched with, but is a noteworthy one, that's for sure.

We should also note that this feature is not something that would be limited to the app store alone, and that users can benefit from it in other sections of the online store as well.

“If you’ve ever shopped on Amazon.com, you’ve likely seen items show up throughout the site based on what you recently browsed or purchased, as well as what other customers have browsed or purchased,” Amber Taylor states in the said post.

“The same thing will be true for apps – they will show up on Amazon.com based on algorithms (which are based on customer behavior).”

To find apps in Amazon's storefront, users would enjoy some other features as well, including Search results, as well as the Bestsellers category (separated in “Free” and “Paid” apps).
