Veteran rapper, Busta Rhymes, makes a dramatic return on the music stage with a new look and a brand new album. Although he was never officially retired, his music somehow never quite managed to make it into the US Billboard charts and to top the performance of 1998 LP 'E.L.E.: Extinction Level Event', that sold 212,000 units in its second week.
Busta allied with big time producer and fellow artist Dr. Dre for his new album and the collaboration proved a very inspired one, after all. 'The Big Bang' went straight to the number 1 position in the American charts, topping the Dixie Chicks and AFI and selling 209,000 copies in its first week in the US.
The album also features a single, alternately called 'I Love My Chick' and 'I Love My Bitch' and includes tracks with other famous names from the hip-hop world, such as Missy Elliot, DMX, Lloyd Banks and, of course, Dr. Dre.
