Guccifer – the hacker who became famous after hijacking the email accounts of several officials, including members of the Bush family and their friends – has breached the AOL account of Sidney Blumenthal, a senior adviser of former President Bill Clinton.

According to The Smoking Gun, the hacker has managed to steal numerous documents, some of which dating as far back as 2005.

So far, the hacker hasn’t leaked the information taken from Blumenthal’s account, except for a series of documents sent by the former adviser to Hilary Clinton.

The documents, mainly focusing on the situation in Libya, have been sent to journalists, including some from Russia, political figures and congressional aids.

Blumenthal admitted that he was unable to access his AOL account until he contacted the company’s representatives and reset its password.

Another noteworthy thing is that Guccifer is the one who hacked the Facebook account of former Secretary of State Colin Powell.
