Some people got a chance to download them

Burnout Paradise is one of the most popular racing titles out there, despite being launched for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 a year ago. One of the most attractive features of the game is the fact that the Criterion staff fully endorses it and has launched a variety of new content, in terms of races, cars and gameplay mechanics to the racer.

After the recent launch of the PC version of the game, entitled Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box, which features the original game and three DLC packs that were released in the past for the title, we have seen the appearance of the very hyped up Legendary Cars pack, which contains four vehicles inspired from famous cars that appeared in movies or TV series.

But yesterday, when the update was launched, some users found something extremely interesting on the Xbox Live Marketplace, in the form of two future DLC packs, the Toy Cars and the Boost Specials ones. Full details were also available in the description of the two DLC packs, revealing things that weren't yet posted by the Criterion staff on their website.

In terms of the Boost Specials DLC pack, besides the already announced Carson Extreme Hotrod, the Hawker Mech 400, an extremely tunable car that can be modified to drive like you want, has also been revealed in the details. The Toy Cars pack, on the other hand, features seven new vehicles, of which only five were revealed by Criterion up until now. The full lineup consists of miniature versions of the Hunter Takedown, Carson GT Concept, Hunter Citizen, Carson Inferno Van, Jansen P12, Krieger WTR, Hunter Manhattan, Nakamura Firehawk.

Price-wise, the Boost Specials pack was listed at 400 MS Points, while each of the toy cars was going for a price of 160 MS Points except for the Firehawk motorcycle, which was priced at 240 MS Points. As a whole, the Toy Cars pack was available for purchase in exchange for 1,000 points.

This has been almost surely a mistake on the part of Microsoft, which also let slip a DLC pack for Midnight Racing Club Los Angeles a few weeks ago. Hopefully we will get to hear from Criterion as soon as possible.
