Burnout Paradise is an open-ended, open world racing simulator that places the emphasis on the possibilities granted by the simulation
of an entire Hawaiian island in the game. It was released for the Xbox 360 and on the PlayStation 3 and, apparently, did well enough to warrant a PC port. Electronic Arts has just announced that the game is being ported to the PC, with the intention to release it before the end of the year, although no official date has been set.
At first, we only knew that we'll have a true open world freedom (the entire city will be available from the outset, giving players the freedom to explore this immersive world known as Paradise City), an easy drive online friend service (to see your friends online and connect with them instantly) and some single player events (choose from Race, Marked Man, Road Rage, and Stunt by pulling up to the numerous stoplights in the game to initiate the event). But, as soon as you start playing it, you know it's much more.
We know that true gamers play all these games just for fun, as they should and not in order to achieve specific point landmarks to prove their friends they are very cool, but we also know that sometimes you just can't live without achieving everything possible with a title you really enjoy. And there's no other way to achieve that unless you get some help from cheat codes.
