Burnout Paradise Cheats, Hints and Unlockables (PS3)

Burnout Paradise (formerly known as Burnout 5) is the newest video game in the Burnout series, which was released on January 22, 2008, in North America and on January 25, 2008, in Europe. It is available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It has a seamless open-world set in the fictional 'Paradise City', with no loading times and no traditional online lobbies or game menus.

A "Mugshots" camera feature is available in the Burnout Paradise versions for the PlayStation 3 (using the PlayStation Eye, the PlayStation 2 EyeToy, and other compatible webcams) and Xbox 360 (using the Xbox Live Vision). When a player is taken down, both players will have their photos taken and exchanged. These photos can then be saved to your hard drive. Both versions will allow camera-less persons, or those who do not wish to use their real face, to use their gamertag/PSN avatar, as demonstrated in the downloadable game demos.

CHEATS

Cheat mode

Press Start to pause game play. Press R1 to scroll to the "Under The Hood" menu. Select "Sponsor Code" option, then enter one of the following case-sensitive codes to activate the corresponding cheat function. A message will confirm correct code entry. Cars will appear when you enter a junkyard after earning the appropriate license. Note: Some codes require a PlayStation Network connection.

Enter CIRCUITCITY as a code in the North American version of the game. You must earn an "A" license to use this car after it is unlocked.

Hunter Best Buy Oval Champ

Enter BESTBUY as a code in the North American version of the game. You must earn an "A" license to use this car after it is unlocked.

Enter GAMESTOP as a code in the North American version of the game. You must earn an "A" license to use this car after it is unlocked.

Double barrel roll

The best way to do a double barrel roll is to jump in the Ikusa GT and fly off the big jump on South Mountain Drive.

Screensaver
Stop your car and remain idle until the engine turns off. You will know when this happens when your taillights turn dark. Remain idle, then the screen will become monochrome and the camera will start to move around the city.
