A single beta version was needed for BurnAware to deliver a stable package of their disc burning tool. And they did it in less than a week, about five days to be more specific.

It looks like there was little work to be done after introducing in the first, and only, beta the new method for data detection of DVD-RW/+RW, adding a feature to update existing data on rewriteable discs. The scantiness of the changes in the stable release of BurnAware 4.1 seem to support this affirmation.

The new build comes with a digitally signed installer, which should prevent antivirus solutions from flagging it as suspicious, as happened with Kaspersky. Additionally, translations and the SDK have been updated.

New in the latest release are the buttons that allow you to move up and down in menus of Audio CD compilations.
