Bioshock Infinite fans will be able to experience the story-driven DLC called Burial at Sea that includes new gear and weapons and the weapon wheel from the authentic BioShock.

According to Level Designer Andres Gonzales, Burial at Sea not only focuses on the narrative of the game but also introduces the gamer to new gameplay elements such as a new Plasmid and Tears. In addition to this, new upgrades for the Plasmids will also be available.

Series creator Ken Levine and Andres Gonzalez have answered numerous fan questions on Reddit and said "Because we wanted to bring players to Rapture before the fall, we basically rebuilt Rapture from scratch and reworked the gameplay systems to offer a unique experience that has elements of the original BioShock, but is built in the BioShock Infinite engine."

It seems that their goal is to reinvent Rapture, putting a lot of effort into it and hoping that players will notice the details and hard work.

Concerning the returning of Lutece, not many comments have been made but Levine did express his opinion on the so-called artwork on Deviantart of Infinite’s heroine.

It seems that series creator didn’t really appreciate the way in which fans see her and said "Seriously, whoever is doing the Elizabeth [adult content] on Deviantart, please stop it." "You're killing me. It's like coming across a picture of your daughter. I die a little inside with every page view."
