Burger King is now offering a product that you can order if you are on a very flexible diet – French fries with less calories.

“Satisfries,” which are crinkle-cut fries, are about 270 calories per serving. That's about 20 percent less than the 340 calories of the regular Burger King fries, but they also cost 20 percent more.

According to the Daily Mail, the crinkle-cut version of the signature Burger King fries are cooked with a new type of less absorbent batter. Less oil gets in the fries, and the dish is lighter. They also contain less salt.

The company is marketing them as an equally tasty alternative, but customers don't seem to agree on that.

“The full-fat fries definitely have more flavor than the new low-calorie option,” one reporter says.

If you have tried them, don't hesitate to leave me your thoughts in the comments section.
