Destroy wave after wave of monsters

This is a Tower Defense (Cooperative) Warcraft 3: Frozen Throne map, the 2.32 version and the last one, according to author Shvegait. A great thing about this TD is that you can sell towers among players, and, additionally, those who lack the ability to slow creeps down can ask an ally for help, and then cede towers to other players, thereby changing their color.

The objective of this game is to defend the villagers from the center of the map, by building towers and heroes. You will have to last through 40 waves of monsters to win, each with its own special characteristics and abilities that will make your job even harder.

At first, you need to select a Governor. Each of those has the ability to commission four types of builders. When you select a Governor, the primary builder is always immediately summoned. Every subsequent builder requires a piece of lumber, which you obtain after every 5th level completed. The monsters will start from each corner, and will pass through all of the four before they head for the middle of the map.

There are 10 different Governors in Burbenog TD, each starting with their elemental builder. They will decide the race of your builder, as well as the different sets of second builders you will have. There are various mixtures of builders and races, so you will want to replay this map many times. Here are the Governors and their main features:

Human – Cheap, fast building time – Human engineering and tower technology at it's best, using explosives and animal launching capabilities.

Magic – Special Abilities – Towers that channel magic from ancient sources to obliterate all enemies.

Fire – Splash damage – Untamable Fires from hell that splash to all creeps, burning them to ashes.

Ice – Frost attacks – Freezing towers that chill creeps to the bone, slowing their movement speed.

Thunder – Longest attack range – Tremendous Storms that find and shock enemies wherever they go.

Poison – Poison attacks – Vile Poisons slowly kill the creeps, while at the same time making them slower.

Death – Powerful Black Magic – Towers of Death, powered by the grim reaper himself.

Holy – Bonus damage vs. undead, Defense – Holy race smites the undead and uses many auras and abilities.

Earth – Powerful vs. Ground units, Siege attacks, Some Splash attacks – Tremors, Earthquakes and Rock golems. Ground units beware!

Wind – Powerful vs. Air units – Storms and Cyclones are very powerful forces of nature. The Wind race taps into these powers.

The game has four levels of difficulty: - Easy mode: The easiest level of difficulty. You start with 50 lives. - Normal mode: The average hard level of difficulty. You start with 25 lives. - Hard mode: This level of difficulty is only for pro's. You only got one chance, 1 life. - Expert mode: Like in Hard mode, you only got 1 life, but the waves are random. There's no knowing when flying units or specific armor will come.

Once each fifth level is completed, you will receive one lumber that can be used to train more builders, to build a tech building, or the Ultimate tower. Besides the towers, you choose to train a hero who will prove very useful at catching leaks or when using their special abilities. The training of the hero will also take one lumber.

Burbenog TD is a great Tower Defense map that can be played with either 2, or 4 players. In order to play this map, you need the Frozen Throne 1.22a Patch.
