Round the holidays, people from all over the world are reminded that celebrities are just like the rest of us regular folk, and especially during the days of social media, we get to see them as they rejoice together with family and friends for Easter.

As fate would have it, this year Easter Sunday fell on the same day, April 20, as the holiest of the holidays in the pot smoker's year. It's called the 4/20 movement and it's regarded as “it's OK to smoke weed everywhere” day, but out in the open only in weed-friendly cities like Denver, Seattle and San Francisco.

If you can imagine, this poses a significant moral issue with many people: should one go in church and celebrate the resurrection of Christ, or should one light a mighty blunt and blaze with fellow pot-heads in plain sight of the law.

While we let that conundrum marinate in there for a while, let's move on to celebrities who chose to celebrate Easter both with family and with blunt, depending on how frisky they felt. Among those who chose to celebrate with their families were rapper Puff Daddy, the man who has just recently landed on the top of Forbes' Richest Hip-Hop Artists list.

Puffy posted on his social media a photo with the entire clan wearing matching outfits. It was a sight to be seen indeed and it showed that the party boy stays home for the holiday. Another celebrity couple that decided to pose for a family shot was Nick Cannon and his lovely wife, Mariah Carey, clad all in pink and a cute set of fluffy bunny ears. They were joined by their two twins, Monroe and Morrocan.

Neil Patrick Harris also took to Instagram to show off his twins, Harper and Gideon, dressed in their Sunday best and smiling for the camera as they held baskets of colorful Easter eggs. “Been having a wonderful Easter Sunday with @DavidBurtka and my two favorite bunnies,” Harris captioned the photo.

The bunny and the family theme were continued in Beyonce's Easter post that showed her cute daughter Blue Ivy meeting the Easter Bunny or the first time. And that's just the beginning, since many other hot celebs chose to showcase their offspring this holiday. Among them were Jessica Simpson, Snooki and Melissa Joan Hart.

While all of this family merriment was going on, others chose to celebrate the egg-themed holiday with pairs of bunny ears added to their own heads, those of their children or just on their pet. Rabbits were very much in vogue for Jessica Alba and Cara Delevingne who got a hold of real rabbits to pose with.

Gisele Bundchen and Vanessa Lachey chose to adorn their dogs with cute bunny years for the added comic effect, while Rita Ora and Miley Cyrus decided the bunny ears would look best on their own head.

Ever the mischievous character, Miley Cyrus, who is still in the hospital recuperating from her severe allergic reaction to antibiotics, posed as a bunny but photoshopped her photo with a carrot in her mouth made out to look like she was smoking a blunt. That way, she made sure to also honor 4/20 and its weed-smoking rituals.

Rihanna, the Bajan beauty known for her love of marijuana, also chose to honor the latter tradition with a photo showing her clad in a see-through top. The essential bits on her chest were covered by a marijuana-shaped pattern, which was her way of telling people that she was going to light one up on Easter Sunday.

Meanwhile, some took on a more religious turn to celebrating Easter. Selena Gomez, for example, posted a snap of herself from behind, sitting in church. There was no denying that she was getting in touch with the Holy Spirit on Sunday.

Jared Leto, the actor who wooed audiences this year with his performance of a trans-gender man in the movie “Dallas Buyers Club,” also got in touch with his religious side when he posted a photo on his social media in which he was arm in arm with a man that looked suspiciously like Jesus.

As you can see, for some family was the most important thing this Easter, while for others a witty pun or a pair of bunny ears did the trick. Of course, since this is a free society, we can't hold anything against those who thought that it was more fitting to light a joint to honor 4/20 rather than celebrating Easter in a more traditional manner.
