The development team at Bungie has already revealed an impressive infographic about the beta period of Destiny, and in order to motivate the community of players, the company says that it will offer an exclusive reward for those who have taken part.

The emblem that the studio is offering those who have helped it improve the game will be exclusive and will clearly mark them out when the full title is launched in September.

The official announcement from Bungie announces, "Here’s a great story – and it cannot be relived or shared. If you played in the Beta, we’re equipping you with proof. It’ll be something that people won’t be able to mimic or obtain. It happened, or it didn't. If you put your boots on the ground in the Destiny Beta, a launch emblem will be waiting for you in September."

The development team has used the testers in order to see whether the network infrastructure for the title is adequate and to try out the core mechanics.

Bungie adds, "This emblem is for everyone who played, or wrestled the centipede and lost. Every moment of the Beta was important. Every tester was worthy of celebration and decoration. Polish it up and pin it to the upper right corner of your screen. Like all the best things in Destiny, you earned it."

Destiny will be officially launched on September 9 on the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One and last-gen consoles.

Sony platforms will get access to a range of exclusive content that will only be offered on Microsoft devices after one year, according to reports.

Bungie is working with Activision to create a new type of first-person shooter that can replicate the impact that its previous big franchise, Halo, had when it originally launched.

The game will mix classic ideas of the genre with mechanics that were previously seen in role-playing games and in massive multiplayer online titles.

The shooter will allow players to explore a deep new universe, learn more about its lore and acquire a wide range of armor, weapons and items that will customize their characters in unique ways.

Destiny includes cooperative battles which encourage players to work together to take out powerful enemies, and it will also feature arenas where they can test their skills in Player versus Player combat.

More than 4.6 million gamers took part in the beta stage, and analysts are expecting a similar number of sales before the end of the year.
