Video game developer Bungie confirms the existence of its Destiny title via the new Twitter account and the official reveal for the new project is set to take place on February 17.The official
Twitter account for Destiny is now live and one of the first messages from the team reads, “You can be the first to see the reveal of #Destiny right here on Feb. 17 (T-Minus 5 days).”
The game was first glimpsed during 2012 via a series of leaked screenshots.
The shooter will give players a chance to become a travelling space knight in the service of Earth, exploring a number of planets in order to secure all the resources that the last city on the planet needs to survive.
The action takes place in a future where humanity has been defeated by aliens and one city remains under the protection of a mysterious spaceship.
Destiny is expected to arrive on next gen consoles later during 2013.
