Video game developer Bungie has re-opened registrations for those who are interested in taking part in beta testing for the projects that the company has under development at the moment, and all those interested can go to the official Bungie website and sign up.

The company first offered beta testing spots late in 2010, but the window for registering was very small, which probably means that all those who are interested need to hurry in order to get into the Bungie program.

Invitations for those who successfully registered in 2010 were sent out in March of this year, meaning that those who register now might have to wait until late this year to learn whether they have been accepted or not.

The official description on the page says: “This is the signup page for our Bungie Beta Testers program. By participating, you will arm us with insightful information about your game playing habits to help up make our next game even better. You're also putting your name in the hat for a limited chance to learn about and play our next game before anyone else (no promises).”

At the moment, Bungie has not announced any official project as being in development, but the request for people to test their work suggests that an announcement might come soon and that the company has created something that is close to playable.

Bungie is best known for creating the Halo series and the character of Master Chief, but the company has severed its relations with publisher Microsoft and has signed a long-term deal with Activision Blizzard, one which focuses on the creation and the development of a new intellectual property.

Rumors popped up saying that Bungie, with some help from Blizzard, was getting ready to create a mix between a first-person shooter and an MMO, with a science fiction theme, but after apparently confirming the concept, Bungie quickly moved to dismiss it.
