Kent’s Meats and Groceries is using the break-in for publicity

Remember that video of a burglar so clumsy and so inappropriately dressed for a robbery, that he actually stumbled, fell and ran off while being caught on camera?

The viral image of the bumbling bandit is now being used to promote the very store he has tried to break into. He didn't actually rob anything, but he did break a window, causing damage of roughly $500 (€382).

However, Kent’s Meats and Groceries owner Kent Pfrimmer is looking on the bright side, having been interviewed by major news outlets since then, which is getting a lot of attention for his store.

“I have got for $500 (€382) exposure you couldn’t buy for $500,000 (€382,000),” he says.

Redding informed that he enlisted the help of the Sugar Pine Media ad agency and devised a commercial promoting his pastrami.

“Some people will do just about anything to get more,” the tagline reads.
