The development team at Rockstar is aiming to get a new trademark for the new Bully, which will include its use for computer and video games programs and software.

On July 25, the company has filled a new application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, but the team is not ready to offer any comment on how it plans to use the name in the future.

The first Bully video game was launched in 2006 and, since then, the company has repeatedly talked about its interest in a sequel, although no official announcement was ever made.

Take Two has already confirmed that multiple next-generation titles are in development at Rockstar at the moment.

The two companies are getting ready to launch Grand Theft Auto V on September 17, on the Xbox 360 from Microsoft and the PlayStation 3 from Sony.
