One year after a video showing 69-year-old bus monitor Karen Klein of Rochester being bullied by students, her life is pretty much the same.

A video of the moment Klein gets teased, taunted and insulted has been posted to YouTube under the title “Making The Bus Monitor Cry.”

The video was shot in Greece, NY and it came to the attention of school officials after it went viral in June of last year.

Seven-graders tease the monitor about her weight, her job and mention her son committing suicide, which he did a decade ago.

According to the AP, after the video came out, Mrs. Klein's story was featured on the Today show and she received an outpour of donations, having complete strangers gather $703,873 (€536,447) for her.

She paid off debt and started the Karen Klein Anti-Bullying Foundation with a part of the money, and she is using the rest to retire. She hasn't changed her car, house or even furniture and she jokes about being a regular person.
