At the Lehntiz animal sanctuary in Germany, a bulldog named Baby and a few sibling baby boars managed to bond. Baby has taken the piglets under her “wing.”

These cute little things were found abandoned in a forest near the capital city of Berlin. Apparently, this is not the first time that Baby tries to adopt cubs of another species.

The attendants at the animal sanctuary call her the “Ueber mother.” Her maternal instincts are highly developed.

The surrogate mother tends to the baby boars, licking their backs to help with their digestion and cuddling when they feel the need for affection.

The piglets will only stay with their adoptive mother for another 3 months, after which they will be taken to a nature reserve and let roam free in a more suitable environment.
